At WilliamsHR, we partner with small and medium businesses to help them lead better, hire smarter, and create fairer workplaces — without the confusion or corporate jargon.​

Why I started WilliamsHR

After more than 15 years in senior HR and Safety roles across industries like defence, manufacturing, banking and services, I started WilliamsHR with a simple mission: to help good businesses become great employers.

 

I’d heard too many stories of people being treated poorly at work, not out of malice (mostly), but because employers didn’t know any better or didn’t have the right support in place.

​

I’ve never been one to sit behind a desk policing policies. My experience is hands-on, boots-on-the-ground, from navigating complex performance issues and return-to-work cases to building workplace cultures that actually work.

​

With post-graduate qualifications in business, training and assessing, RTW Coordination, and currently halfway through a Master in Business Psychology, I bring a mix of real-world experience and a practical understanding of what businesses need — and what people expect.

​

As a current Director on the Board of the Hunter Region Business Hub, I’m also proud to support the broader small business community across the Hunter, providing guidance and advocacy for sustainable, people-focused growth.
